Alila Manggis Hotel Candi Dasa , Candi Dasa (Bali)

I felt like I was at a hidden oasis with impeccable service. The room, although a bit bunker-like, had all the essentials and opened up to a beautiful pool. Just add some room numbers on those French doors at the back!

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms initially had a damp, musty smell, but I was quickly moved to a beautiful upstairs room with a stunning terrace and view. The simplicity, cleanliness, and comfort of the room were impressive. The pool and the open-air pavilion restaurant, Salt, offered great meals throughout the day.

My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were clean, comfy, and had the best view overlooking the pool and water. The staff really went above and beyond to make my stay perfect, and the peaceful location was perfect for some relaxation. The dining experience was of a high standard, and the facilities were top-notch.

The hotel offers a nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of Ubud, with a location close to the water and easy access to the center. The rooms are well cared for and lovely, despite seeming a bit dated. The service is outstanding with a fantastic team always going the extra mile. The dining experience is a saving grace with delicious options. The grounds are pleasant with a great team ensuring a pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The rooms were very cozy with a great view overlooking the pool and the ocean, but they were not as large as expected for a 5-star hotel. The service was absolutely top-notch, the staff were polite and the resort was well-run. The location was a lovely environment to relax in, although slightly distant from Candidasa. The dining offered a wide range of individually prepared foods but was limited to one choice on the menu. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
